Green Technologies

Environmental technology or "green technology" is the application of the (Special:Userlogin)environmental sciences (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Environmental_science) to conserve the natural environment (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_environment) and resources, and by curbing the negative impacts of human involvement. Sustainable development (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sustainable_development) is the core of environmental technologies. When applying sustainable development as a solution for environmental issues, the solutions need to be socially equitable, economically viable, and environmentally sound.
